UGeek Club: Where do you do most of your work?
Tsukichan: Most of the time, where I find some space! On the floor, on the kitchen table, where I can! My boyfriend made me a little office for the times I go to his place so it makes life easier!
UGeek Club: Are you inspired by life, images, or imagination?
Tsukichan: Depends on the time! For Aloy or Lara, it's clearly inspired by the references of the video games but for my Poison Ivy steampunk cosplay, it's a creation so the design comes from my imagination and in these cases, I find ideas everywhere (fanart, books, movies, etc)!
UGeek Club: What drives you most in life?
Tsukichan: What or who motivates me to do cosplay? It's hard to say. I got plenty! First, my boyfriend who introduced me to cosplay! My family, then the other cosplayers too! I really love Kamui Cosplay, Lightning cosplay etc, these cosplayers are models for me and make me want to always do better!! For Lara Croft cosplay, my muse is Meagan Marie, Jenn Croft Cosplay, Lili Din cosplay and Illyne Cosplay!
UGeek Club: Where do you want to take your work? Is it more hobby or do you
want to make a career out of it?
Tsukichan: It's totally a passion! After that, if one day I had the chance to live cosplay, I wouldn't say no it would be with great pleasure! But for now, it's just a passion!
UGeek Club: As a cosplayer, what role do you see cosplayers playing in society?
Tsukichan: I don't know if it's the same in your country, but here in Belgium, cosplay is only starting to break through! It's hard to get paid! For society, we are a bit of a joke that is not really taken seriously... Fortunately, the mentality is changing and it is nice to participate, on my scale, in this change of mentality of society! For countries where cosplay is best known, I think the cosplayer is an artist in his own right!
UGeek Club: What do you love most about cosplaying?
Tsukichan: Actually, I like everything about cosplay. The search for references, the making of the costume, the roleplay in a convention, the meetings! I love being who I want to be... With cosplay, you can put your shyness aside and become a super badass hero! You change wigs and suits, and there you go, you're somebody else again! It's like a second life! As if we had our normal Clark Kent life and in a convention, we become Superman!
UGeek Club: How do you want your cosplays to impact society?
Tsukichan: I think if my cosplays can inspire other people to get into cosplay, it would already be a good start! I think if every cosplayer could inspire even one person, cosplay would be even more popular and it would be great! I'd like to honor the characters I play and if others like it, it's heaven!
UGeek Club: What environmental things inspire you?
Tsukichan: It's quite rare that nature or music inspires me... in reality, music or what I feel in nature is more often a reflection of myself so it doesn't inspire me especially! Now I use a lot of music or a series when I craft! That motivates me a lot!
UGeek Club: What would you love to learn to do to improve your cosplay skills?
Tsukichan: I would like first of all to deepen my sewing and armoring skills and then what really interests me is learning how to make facial prostheses! I find this discipline fascinating! I'd also like to touch a little more with LED's and electrical systems!
    UGeek Club: How do Ugeek?
Tsukichan: Good, good, good! It's always okay when you like what you're doing.
